One tree. Five weeks. A shot at the title.
Every year, Bonsaigers’ X brings bonsai people of every level, beginners to professionals, into one bracket, one story, and one winner. Thirty-two trees go head-to-head across five weekends of direct elimination, judged by a panel of three plus the public vote on Instagram. And this year, for the first time, there’s a second title on the table: Best in Show, decided entirely by public vote, right here on the site.
Submitting is more than an entry. It’s a chance to tell your tree’s story, how long you’ve trained it, what you’ve learned along the way, the years behind that pot. Every tree we select gets a public profile as part of the tournament, and the more of that story you show us, the more the judges, and your community, have to weigh.
Submissions are open now through November 2, 2026. You must be 18 or older, and each person may enter one tree. We select the final 32 from everyone who applies, so tell us about the tree, not just its measurements.
