The Burning Bush Bonsai
A centerpiece of our collection, this triple-trunk Euonymus alatus, or Burning Bush bonsai, is a testament to time, care, and the spirit of our bonsai journey. Its complex and powerful nebari firmly anchors the three distinct trunks, creating a striking composition that embodies both strength and balance.
Throughout the seasons, this bonsai offers a dynamic display of beauty. In spring and summer, it flourishes with delicate green foliage and small, subtle flowers. As autumn arrives, it transforms into a fiery spectacle, its canopy igniting in brilliant red hues—a signature trait that gives the Burning Bush its name.
This tree has been part of our Bonsaigers project since day one, standing alongside us for five years as both a symbol of growth and dedication. Acquired from a local nursery near our garden, it shares its origins with our very first three trees, making it an irreplaceable piece of our history.
A bonsai that speaks of seasons, stories, and passion, this Euonymus alatus continues to evolve, just as our journey does.
