This Fraxinus ornus — commonly known as the Manna Ash — was collected from the wild in 2011 and has been carefully cultivated by its current owner ever since. Its naturalistic style emphasizes the tree’s inherent elegance, with flowing branches and an expressive trunk that reflect the organic growth patterns of its native habitat.

The tree is planted in a pot by Czech ceramist Tomáš Snovický, chosen to harmonize with the Manna Ash’s structure while enhancing the overall visual balance. The container’s understated design allows the tree’s natural lines and graceful movement to remain the focal point.

Over the years, the Manna Ash has been shaped with sensitivity to its native character, highlighting the gentle, airy canopy and subtle branching that give the composition its quiet presence. Today, it stands as a refined example of naturalistic bonsai — a living testament to patience, observation, and respect for the species’ inherent beauty.
